Oxford

10/Aug/2013 Oxford shire

It was extremely amazing place for serious Harry Potter fans :0 I'm a big fan of HP since I was around 12 years old, and the reason why i decided to live in London is only for Harry Potter actually. I'm still keep watching Harry Potter every night during I'm sleeping. First, I followed a guide who show history and building of Oxford and is a ex-worker in Oxford Uni. There are many building which were built more than 400 years ago and are still working as a campus!! 0 0 I'm always surprised by these British stuffs, coz though they were built long time ago, people still use...It's common in the UK...

My friend said when he said 'Harry Potter', I got alive, though my appearance was looked so sleepy and wanted to smoke. lol The guide man was surprised as well. When he said only 2 or 3 words related with HP, I got what he wants to say and which part of the film...lol Anyway, I have the right to go to Hogwarts. haha After he finished to show there, I got free time. Of course, I ran to the place of HP. I didn't have any maps and plenty of time, coz all building would close until 4pm!!!!!! But at this time my sight was clear. I remembered all direction and the name of buildings the guide told me.

These above 3 pics shows the place Malfoy was changed an animal by Moody in Goblet of fire. I was so so so excited. I found a branch which looks like a wand. Third pic is the scene Harry told to Ron ' stay away from me'.

This room is the hospital in Hogwarts. Harry used this room many times. lol

The stairs!!!!!!!!!! When Harry arrived to Hogwarts for the first time, he went up this upstairs. And Malfoy told to Harry, 'it's true, Harry Potter is coming to Hogwarts'. I was impressed so much than I had expected.

This is the famous dining room in Hogwarts. Actually it's the dining of Oxford uni..lol I and my friend were disappointed a bit, coz it doesn't have magical ceiling.... !!lol it exists definitely in real world.... - -

This place was used in Philosophy's stone. In the winter scene, Harry walked with Hedwig on snow.

Anyway, as you can see, I enjoyed so much!!! This is one of the most my favorite place in the world. If i have a chance, I will go again! I couldn't go one place which is used as a library in Hogwarts. There is restricted book place in the first film!!!! hohoho

My access to Oxford from London
>>London Paddington station: I went there with 3 of my friends, so I could be discounted from £20 to £12. So i recommend to go there with 3 or 4 of them. They have a discounting system for 3 or 4 people.
>> it took about 1 hour journey

In my case, my teacher applied the guide. But you can check on this website.

Sevensisters

Sevensisters

It is a series of special white cliff and exists in East Sussex in the UK.  The place was so amazing and spectacular!!!! If you want to swim, you can swim besides this cliff. It must be nice, i think.

When I went there, though i wanted to swim, it was too cold to swim at that time even in the end of July...: ( so sad.... I left around noon from London Victoria station. I had expected I could go to the cliff easily. But actually it's not. We must have taken a bus and gone there about for 1 hour with transfer a bus.

Anyway, when I saw the cliff, it was more incredible after i had the long journey!!

There are no any fences on the edges. So be careful to go there a bit. lol

On the way to the cliff, I saw a sheep couple!! They laid on each other and carried on!! lol
We walked a long rapid hill about 30 mins to see the cliff. It was a bit hard for me, coz I wore flip-flops...

*My access*
>>took a train to East Bourne from London Victoria
>>took a 12 or 12A bus to Brighton
>>changed the bus
>>got a shuttle bus

I don't exactly remember which bus stop I transfered. But I asked a man who stand by the bus stop. He is a guide to tell the bus direction.

Other details to go there:   http://www.sevensisters.org.uk/page56.html

It's worth going there if you are in the UK!

Meltdown

Hello, how are you?
I've been so busy after I came back from Paris. I had a serious problem when I came back. My landload changed the wi-fi system, so I can't use my laptop and iPhone so far in my room. This  is terrible for me.

For this reason, I complained to Dem about this. lol Then I found suitable pub.
It's a pub called Meltdown.

This pub is a bit special; it's online gaming pub. Normally, there are many sports pubs which people can watch football games or stuff like that. However, this pub has lived online game matches! So there are many geeks. lol

I'll go to watch Ti3, which is an international dota2 competition as possible as i can.

in my brain

I can be content, because I can be with nice friends anytime and anywhere. i understand if people don't have much money or fame. It's okey because even they have friends and family who need them: ) Before I came to London, I had many friends, but I didn't treasure seriously the benefits. But now after having gone through a life in which I'm not with any familiar people, I can notice the importance. And also I've noticed that different countries and hometowns aren't really obstacle to becoming friends. Though I had just wanted to live in a big city like London or Tokyo before, I  have changed my mind a little, it doesn't matter where I live. I can't write about things on Facebook and Twitter my all friends would see!! lol

And in this weekend I thought what my life would be like after I return to Japan. I'm torn between two feelings I want to live in London more but I also want to rerturn to Japan. When I come back to Japan, I must start job hunting and preparing my graduation essay.... Real life is waiting for me!!! lol I found living in another countries is exciting and stimulating. So in the future, I want to get a job that is related to foreign countries, and yet can moreover support Japanese economics. My English is so poor to work in that sort of environment....Anyway, I have to  do homework 0.0 That's all I thought about this weekend...lol

lazy....

Hi,

Spring is coming! It were sunny and warm days in London these days...! I can't understand British people, because they took off their clothes and just wore underwear outside in a park or their cottage, whether man or woman are... Also, on daytime they have wore tank-top 0,0 If I would do same in Japan, I must stand out. lol Anyway, good weather makes us happy: ) I and my friend walked around and sit down on the bench frequently after it became spring... I thought the sunshine is too strong once it's sunny, though it's around 15℃. I need put sunscreen on my face...I should quit being lazy:    (

Leaving party

Tonight is her last night in London. She is my older sister for me. We and she often drink together. I've not ever made  a foreign friend from Korea like her.

Actually we ate together last night too. I got drank too much at that time... After we ate and drank at my kitchen, we went to the pub I always go. And then! We went to Brick lane to eat the Jewish bagel. The shop is 24/7, I've never been there at midnight. Though it was at midnight, there were many customers. It's the evidence the shop have been famous in London for a long time.

During eating the bagel(what a nice nice Salty beef bagel!!!), we went to Liverpool street st. to get our bus. At this time, it took for 30 minutes on foot! lol

I had a nice time, because these days I often depressed easily, though I don't know why...

Tonight we ate Indian curry in my kitchen... I really really miss her already!

Beautiful Korean ladies(a left side) and strange Japanese girls(a right side)...lol
